Ordering & Subscription

What is DishDrop?

DishDrop is a weekly Indian meal-prep subscription based in Liverpool. Our chefs cook authentic, home-style curries, biryanis, starters, breads, and desserts fresh each week, ready to heat and eat.

How does the subscription work?

Each week you choose at least 6 main meals from our rotating menu of 14+ dishes, selected from 75+ recipes. You can add starters, breads, and desserts as add-ons. Your box is prepared fresh and delivered every Wednesday.

When do I need to place my order by?

Order or amend your box by Sunday 11:59pm for delivery the following Wednesday. Any changes made after this deadline will apply to the week after.

Can I change my meals every week?

Yes. Log in with your plan email and plan code before the Sunday cut-off to update your main meals and add-ons for the upcoming week.

What's the minimum order?

A minimum of 6 main meals per week. Ordering more unlocks discounts: 7% off for 10-13 meals, and 10% off for 14+ meals.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Yes, both can be done from your account before Sunday 11:59pm. Pausing skips just the next Wednesday drop; your plan resumes automatically the week after. Cancelling stops future deliveries entirely.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

Currently, DishDrop delivers to Liverpool addresses only.

What day and time will my meals arrive?

Meals are delivered every Wednesday, any time before 6pm.

Will my food stay fresh if I'm not home?

Yes, boxes are packed with ice packs to keep meals chilled throughout the day. You can also specify a safe place for delivery if you will not be home.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is calculated by road distance from L18 9XN: free within 1 driving mile, £2.50 for 1-3 driving miles, £4 for 3-6 driving miles, £5 for 6-10 driving miles, £6 for 10-14 driving miles, and £8 for Wirral. We do not currently deliver more than 14 driving miles unless it is Wirral.

Menu & Food

What kind of food does DishDrop make?

Authentic Indian dishes, including veg and non-veg curries, biryanis, starters, breads, and desserts, plus a few global favourites like pasta and pad thai. The weekly menu rotates from a larger pool of 75+ recipes.

Is the menu suitable for vegetarians or vegans?

Yes, the menu has dedicated vegetarian and vegan filters, alongside non-veg options.

Can I request dietary accommodations?

Yes, there is a Special Requirements field when building your box for any dietary notes or preferences.

Can the dishes be frozen?

Yes! Look out for the snowflake symbol in the description for each dish, which tells you whether it is suitable for freezing. Freeze before the date mark shown and consume within 3 months. Defrost and consume on the day of defrost. Defrost thoroughly before heating.

How do I heat the meals?

Meals arrive ready to heat and eat within minutes, with no prep or cooking needed.

Is DishDrop new? I remember ordering from Prayag Meals.

DishDrop is the rebrand of Prayag Meals, Liverpool's Indian meal-prep service. Same chefs, same food, new name.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a weekly box cost?

The minimum plan is 6 meals per week and the meals cost between £4.49 and £8.99 each. A road-distance delivery fee is added. More meals bring the per-meal price down via the 7% and 10% discount tiers.

How do I pay?

Payments are handled securely via Stripe, supporting card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Your box and delivery renew weekly until paused or cancelled.

Will I be charged automatically every week?

Yes, Stripe charges every Monday at 12:00am UK time unless you pause, cancel, or the plan is amended before the Sunday cut-off.
