These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DishDrop website and your purchase of meal subscription boxes from DishDrop, a trading name of Aggtech UK Ltd ("DishDrop", "we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales and operating from Liverpool, United Kingdom.
By placing an order or creating an account with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
"Box" means the weekly selection of meals and add-ons you order through our website.
"Plan" means your recurring weekly meal subscription.
"Cut-off" means Sunday 11:59pm, the weekly deadline to place, amend, pause, or cancel your order.
"Delivery Day" means Wednesday, the day your Box is delivered.
"Website" means dishdropmeals.co.uk and any associated ordering pages.
2. Placing Orders & Forming a Contract
Orders are placed through the Website by selecting a minimum of 6 main meals, plus any optional add-ons (starters, breads, desserts), and completing checkout.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase a Plan from us. We will send you an email confirming receipt of your order; this confirms receipt only and does not mean your order has been accepted. A binding contract between you and DishDrop is formed once we confirm your Box has been prepared for dispatch ahead of the relevant Delivery Day.
You are responsible for checking that the meals, add-ons, delivery address, and contact details you submit are correct before the weekly Cut-off.
3. Subscription Plans & Recurring Charges
DishDrop operates on a rolling weekly subscription. Once you start a Plan, your Box and delivery repeat automatically each week at the price shown at checkout, unless you amend, pause, or cancel before the Cut-off.
If you take no action before the Cut-off, DishDrop will automatically select main meals from the available weekly menu to fill your Box, so as to give you a balanced spread of nutrition and flavours. Add-ons are never added automatically and must be selected manually each week.
Minimum order and discounts:
- 6 main meals: standard price.
- 10-13 main meals: 7% discount.
- 14+ main meals: 10% discount.
We reserve the right to change weekly pricing, discount thresholds, or the delivery fee from time to time. Where a price change affects your Plan, we will show the new weekly price on your account before it takes effect, and you may amend, pause, or cancel your Plan in response before the next Cut-off.
4. Amendments, Pausing & Cancellation of Your Plan
You may amend your meal selection, pause your Plan for a week, or cancel your Plan at any time by logging in with your plan email and plan code, provided you do so before the Cut-off (Sunday 11:59pm).
Amendments made before the Cut-off apply to the following Wednesday's Box.
Pausing skips only the next scheduled Delivery Day; your Plan resumes automatically the week after unless you pause again or cancel.
Cancellations submitted before the Cut-off take effect before the next Wednesday delivery. If submitted after the Cut-off, one further Box may already be in preparation and will be delivered and charged before cancellation takes effect.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a Plan where payment fails, delivery is not possible to your address, or these Terms are breached.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Your weekly total is the sum of your main meal plan price, any add-ons, and the delivery fee.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. By subscribing, you authorise us to take recurring weekly payments every Monday at 12:00am UK time via Stripe until your Plan is paused or cancelled.
If a scheduled payment fails, we may retry the payment, pause your Plan, or contact you to update your payment details before the next Delivery Day.
6. Delivery
DishDrop currently delivers to addresses within Liverpool only. We do not currently offer delivery outside this area.
Boxes are delivered every Wednesday, at any time before 6pm, packed with ice packs to help keep meals chilled throughout the day.
You may specify a safe place for delivery if you will not be home. Where no safe place is given and no one is available to receive the delivery, we will use reasonable judgement to leave the Box safely, or may need to arrange redelivery, which may incur an additional charge.
Please ensure your delivery address and postcode are accurate and complete. We are not responsible for non-delivery or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
On rare occasions, deliveries may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, for example severe weather, courier disruption, or traffic incidents. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and to keep your meals safe to eat.
7. The Menu & Product Availability
Our weekly menu rotates from a wider pool of recipes and is subject to availability of fresh ingredients. We reserve the right to substitute, remove, or add dishes to the weekly menu at our discretion, including at short notice.
Where a dish you selected becomes unavailable after ordering, we will substitute it with a dish of similar type and value and will let you know what has changed in your Box where practical.
8. Allergens & Dietary Information
Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including but not limited to gluten, dairy, nuts, and soy. While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee any meal is completely free from cross-contamination.
Allergen and dietary information for each dish is provided on the Website. It is your responsibility to review this information before ordering and to use the Special Requirements field to tell us about allergies, intolerances, or dietary needs.
If you have a severe allergy, please contact us directly before ordering so we can advise whether we can safely accommodate your requirements.
9. Quality, Complaints & Refunds
We want every Box to arrive fresh and in good condition. If your meals arrive damaged, spoiled, missing, or otherwise not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order details and, where possible, photos.
Where a genuine issue is confirmed, we will, at our discretion, offer a replacement item, credit towards a future Box, or a partial or full refund for the affected item(s).
As our products are perishable food items intended for immediate or near-immediate consumption, the statutory 14-day cooling-off/right to cancel period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once a Box has been delivered. This does not affect your other statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of food that is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described.
10. Your Responsibilities on Receipt
Meals are delivered chilled and ready to heat and eat. Please refrigerate your Box promptly on receipt, follow any heating and storage instructions provided, and consume meals within the timeframe stated on the packaging.
We are not responsible for illness or harm arising from meals that were not stored, handled, or reheated in line with the instructions provided.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your Plan is limited to the amount you paid for the Box giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your plan email and plan code confidential and for all activity carried out using them. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account details have been compromised.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, recipes, photography, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to DishDrop / Aggtech UK Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.
14. Promotions & Discounts
From time to time we may run promotions, discount codes, or referral offers. Any specific terms attached to a promotion will take precedence over these Terms in the event of a conflict, for the duration of that promotion.
15. Privacy & Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the Website, and in compliance with UK data protection law including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on the Website, and continued use of your Plan after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Where changes materially affect your Plan, we will aim to give you reasonable notice.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of DishDrop's services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Contact Us
If you have any questions about these Terms, your Plan, or an order, please get in touch with us via the contact details provided on the Website.
